Get The Cheese!

This is a university module project for the Game Prototyping module. (This is a prototype so bugs may occur during play.)

You play as my dog and you must find your owner by collecting cheese, jumping across platforms and defeating dreadful box enemies.

Install Instructions:

The game is in a zip folder called "Get_The_Cheese." Unzip this folder and the .exe called "GamePrototyping" file inside the folder is the game so click that to run the game.

How To Play:

You use the mouse and left click to operate the Main, pause, game over and end menus in the game.

It is A to move left and D to move right.

It is Space Bar to Jump.

You hold left click to aim the jet pack projectile once you have it and let go of left click to shoot it.

It is Q to open and close the controls on screen.

It is the Escape button to open and close the Pause Menu.

Credits:

I did the programming and game engine work for the game as well as the photo of the dog is a photo of my dog.

Game Engine: Unreal Engine 4.27.2

Assets:

I used the default Unreal Engine 4.27.2 starter content as a part of my game but I worked from a blank template inside of Unreal Engine 4.27.2. This starter content was used for some of the textures and the level itself as well as the shapes of the characters.
